Question 1: How to make donations to TWGHs?
Answer:
Thank you for your generous support to TWGHs! To encourage the general public to make donation, the Group offers various donation channels. For details, please click here to check out “Making donations”
Question 2: Can I claim tax deduction for my donation? How and how long can I obtain a donation receipt?
Answer:
Donation of HK$100 or above to TWGHs is tax deductible. Arrangements of donation receipt are listed as follow,
- Donation via Online Platforms, including Credit Cards, PayPal, BOCHK e-Donate Platform and Octopus, or Donation Form by post, donation receipt will be arranged according to the instruction given by the donor
- For other channels, including PayMe, PPS and Convenience Store, please complete the “Donation Form” and send together with the corresponding attachment by post to Fund-raising Division, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, 12 Po Yan Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong or by email to donate@tungwah.org.hk
- Please be reminded to provide corresponding address. The donation receipt will be sent by post in 8 weeks upon receipt of the donation instruction
Question 3: How to make periodic donation to TWGHs automatically?
Answer:
You are cordially invited to join the “Friends of Tung Wah” Monthly Donation Scheme to regularly donate to TWGHs by Credit Card or Bank Autopay automatically. Please click here for details and join now
Question 4: When will my account be debited for “Friends of Tung Wah” Monthly Donation Scheme?
Answer:
Donation will be processed during 1st and 10th of each month
Question 5: Can I designate the purpose of the donation?
Answer:
TWGHs is pleased to allocate your donations to the service scopes you would like to support. Please indicate your preference when making donation
Question 6: Which forms of support does TWGHs need?
Answer:
TWGHs welcomes the following forms of support, including
- One-off donation or to join the “Friends of Tung Wah” Monthly Donation Scheme
- Support the Group’s fund-raising events, please click here for “Latest News & Events” of the Fund-raising Division
- Donation of assets, such as properties, shares, valuable items or bequests, etc.
- Assist in placing donation box for donation collection
- Assist in promoting TWGHs, such as via corporate newsletter, publication, website or leaflet insertion
Question 7: Any donation acknowledgements will be offered by TWGHs?
Answer:
TWGHs is pleased to arrange the following acknowledgements as a token of appreciation for your generous support,
- For cumulative donation of HK$10,000 or above within the financial year, the Group will acknowledge in its annual report
- Various kinds of acknowledgement are available for different fund-raising events and donation scheme, please click here for details at the “Latest News & Events”
- If you are interested in naming our service centres, donation for porcelain photos or named on plaque, please contact the Fund-raising Division of TWGHs at 1878 333
Question 8: How can I update my personal information to TWGHs?

Please send the completed “Change of Personal Data Request Form” by post to Fund-raising Division, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, 12 Po Yan Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong or by email to donate@tungwah.org.hk for handling
