社会服务 COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMUNITY SERVICES 72 Service Overview Geared to the varied needs of the elderly population, TWGHs elderly services aim at enabling senior citizens to enjoy a dignified and happy life through a range of community support, residential and specialised elderly services offered by 67 service units for the elderly. Information on respective service units is listed in Appendix C1. 东华三院透过辖下67 个安老服务单位为长者提 供社区支援、院舍及长者专门服务，照顾他们各 方面的需要，让他们安享富尊严及愉快的生活， 达至圆满人生。单位资料详列于附录C1。 安老服务 Elderly Services The youth and family services include day care services for infants and pre-school children, pre-school rehabilitation service, special child care centres, residential services for children and young people, integrated services for family and young people, specialised counselling services, school social work and student guidance services and hotline services. A total of 82 service units offer caring support, counselling and development opportunities for children, young people and families in need. Information on respective service units is listed in Appendix C2. 东华三院辖下青少年及家庭服务的服务范围包括 日间幼儿服务、学前儿童康复服务、特殊幼儿中 心、儿童及青年住宿服务、青少年及家庭综合服 务、专门辅导服务、学校社会工作、学生辅导服 务及辅导热线等，合共有82 个服务单位，为有 需要的儿童、青少年及家庭提供适切的照顾、辅 导及发展机会。单位资料详列于附录C2。 青少年及家庭服务 Youth and Family Services TWGHs has been very active in developing rehabilitation services to promote the development of the physical, mental and social capabilities of people with disabilities as well as the realisation of an environment conducive to their full participation in social life. A wide spectrum of services is offered through 53 rehabilitation service units, including day training, vocational rehabilitation services, residential care services, community support services and specialised services for persons with disabilities. Parent work, counselling and guidance services for family members and community education programmes are also provided to enhance public acceptance and integration of the disabled persons into the community. Social Enterprises and Social Innovation Units 服务概览 疫情下各类社会服务的 应对措施 Anti-epidemic Measures for Various Community Services To reinforce prevention from COVID-19, TWGHs collaborated with Nano and Advanced Materials Institute (NAMI) during the 5th wave of the pandemic, by putting innovative products with NAMI technologies into daily use at TWGHs Lo Wong Yuk Man Nursing Home. Such products included COVID-19 Virus Killing Nanofiber Facemasks, Super HEPAgrade Air Purification Media, Nanofiber Air Con Mask for AirConditioners outlet, Washable Antiviral & Antibacterial Textile and Antimicrobial multi-purpose hand spray. Meanwhile, COVID-19 Virus Killing Nanofiber Facemask were also used at the elderly homes in Shatin District, as part of our efforts to provide a better protection for both staff and residents. 第五波疫情期间，本院为加强防疫，与纳米及先 进科技研发院合作，于辖下罗王玉文护养院应用 该院研发的创新科技产品，包括纳米抗新冠病毒 口罩、超HEPA等级空气净化过滤膜、纳米纤维 冷气机空气过滤膜、可重洗的抗病毒抗菌纺织品， 以及护肤抗菌抗病毒搓手液等。此外， 沙田区的安老院舍亦采用了纳米抗新冠 病毒口罩，以进一步保护职员及院友。 纳米创新科技安老院舍合作计划 Collaboration Project for NAMI Innovative Technology at the Elderly Homes 东华三院罗王玉文护养院应用纳米抗菌床 单及枕头套。 Bed sheets and pillows cover made with Antimicrobial Fabrics were used at TWGHs Lo Wong Yuk Man Nursing Home.
