社会服务 COMMUNITY SERVICES 75 东华三院「环保村」 动土典礼 Ground-breaking Ceremony of TWGHs "E-Co Village" TWGHs has always been committed to promoting sustainable development and implementing the goal of low-carbon and environmental-friendly living. The Ground-breaking Ceremony of TWGHs E-Co Village was held on 18 June 2022. The Group was honoured to have the Hon. Mrs. LAM CHENG Yuet Ngor, Carrie, GBM, GBS, the then Chief Executive, as the officiating guest. While the theme of the Ceremony was environmental protection, the materials used were aimed at recycling, up-cycling and turning waste into energy. The E-Co Village is the first camp site-cum-green education park to be revitalised from a landfill, and the construction work is scheduled to be completed by the 3rd quarter of 2023. 东华三院一直致力推动可持续发展及实践低碳 环保生活目标。本院营办的环保村于2022 年 6 月18 日进行动土典礼，并十分荣幸邀得时任 行政长官林郑月娥大紫荆勋贤GBS担任主礼 嘉宾。典礼以环保为主题，所用的物料均贯彻 循环再用、升级再造及转废为能理念。本院身 体力行，冀盼为环保工作出一分力。环保村是 香港首个由堆填区转化成推动环保生活及教育 的露营基地，预计将于2023 年第三季落成。 时任香港特别行政区行政长官林郑月娥大紫荆勋贤GBS( 左四) 联同其它嘉宾，包括时任环境局局长黄锦星GBS太平绅士( 右四)、 环境及生态局常任秘书长( 环境)/环境保护署署长谢小华太平绅士( 左二)、马清扬主席( 右五)，以及董事局成员进行动土仪式。 The Ground-breaking Ceremony was officiated by the Hon.
