企业社会责任 CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY 130 134 绿色摘要 Green Highlights An Environmental Steering Committee and an Environmental Working Group have been set up to steer TWGHs efforts in environmental conservation, monitor and review the effectiveness of TWGHs environmental performance, identify areas for improvement, and formulate future environmental objectives and indicators. In addition, a green representative has been nominated in each Division/Office/ Section to disseminate green messages to all staff members. Replacing old electrical appliances with energy saving types is the most effective way to reduce carbon emissions. In addition to reducing carbon footprint through hardware, it is equally important to instil the concept of green building to maintain the environmental protection mindset of the next generation. A total of 17 TWGHs schools participated in the “Jockey Club BEAM Plus in Schools Project” co-organised by Business Environment Council Limited, BEAM Society Limited and Hong Kong Green Building Council Limited. Various retrofitting works, green education workshops and BEAM Plus certification were conducted under the Project. All of the retrofitting works were completed. With the launch of “BEAM Plus Existing Schools Version 1.0” in October 2022, the participating schools conducted the BEAM Plus assessment and certification. 根据东华三院的碳审计分析数据，温室气体排放 主要由购买的能源间接产生，而最有效减少碳排 放的方法就是将旧电器更换成节能型。除了透过 硬件减少碳足迹外，向下一代灌输绿色建筑的概 念同样十分重要，可使环境保护理念得以持续。 本院合共有17 所学校参加了「赛马会绿建环评学 校计划」。计划由商界环保协会联同建筑环保评 估协会及香港绿色建筑议会举办，内容包括更换 节能设备、提供绿色教育工作坊和参加绿建环评 相关认证。所有更换节能设备工程已经完成。「绿 建环评既有学校1.0 版」于2022 年 10 月正式推 出，为参加学校进行认证。 节能与环保建筑 Energy Saving and Green Building
