In commemoration of its 145th anniversary and its charitable footprints, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals will organize the Man Mo Ti Parade in the Tai Ping Shan district, which represents the earliest Chinese settlement. The hundred-feet long dragon, lion dance, the Three Princes, marching band, street dance, tai chi, wushu (martial arts), oldies singers and dancers will also join the procession. Citizens are welcome to both attend and take photos of the parade, to experience firsthand the grand occasion of the touring of the Man Mo Gods [God of Literature (Man Ti) and the Martial God (Mo Ti)], and the fine tradition of local cultural heritage. To pay homage to the Man Ti and Mo Ti and to invoke peace and prosperity for the people of Hong Kong, the parade will be followed by the annual Autumn Sacrificial Rites to be held at 12 noon at the Man Mo Temple at Hollywood Road.
