TWGHs worked with the Department of History of the Chinese University of Hong Kong to compile 1,000 representative historical documents from Tung Wah's archives into 5 dedicated volumes. The documents cover Tung Wah's charitable work, its repatriation of remains and burial services.

Volume 1 "Origins and Evolution: Establishment and Development of Tung Wah Hospital" records the establishment of Tung Wah and its development.
