TWGHs worked with the Department of History of the Chinese University of Hong Kong to compile 1,000 representative historical documents from Tung Wah's archives into 5 dedicated volumes. The documents cover Tung Wah's charitable work, its repatriation of remains and burial services.

Volume 2 "Giving and Receiving: From Emergency Help to Regular Services" records the up-to-date charitable services provided by Tung Wah in early 20th century.
