| Purpose | ： | To raise funds to support “TWGHs Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Adapted for Selective Mutism”. Selective mutism is an anxiety disorder characterized by a child’s consistent failure to speak in specific social situations, which affects their academic or social performance. As such, TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Service Centre brought in the therapy model, an evidence-based intervention for improvement of symptoms of selective mutism, from the United States in 2020. Through a variety of speech training and practice, children can be able to regain their confidence in communication. | ||||||||||||||
