Location : Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:
  • Provide executive and secretarial support to the Head of Human Resources Division (HHRD) including managing meetings/visits/events schedules and overseas trips;
  • handle in/out documents and telephone enquiries, and compile general correspondence of the HHRD’s office;
  • coordinate with senior management and members of the Board of Directors to ensure the related meetings/activities are being well-organized;
  • perform general company secretarial duties, such as compiling meeting documents, maintenance and filing of meeting records and registers;
  • organise senior staff recruitment exercises, including interview preparation, contract signing and data entry into record systems;
  • develop and maintain an organized and effective documentary record system; and
  • undertake ad hoc research including information collection, compilation and analysis for specific issues as assigned, and provide a summary/proposal to facilitate the management’s decision making.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
  • a recognized degree or equivalent;
  • Grade D or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
  • proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset;
  • exceptional multi-tasking and problem solving skills;
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; and
  • preferably executive and/or secretarial experience in a large-scale organization.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.  The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
