Registered Nurse/Registered Nurse (Midwife)

Location: Chai Wan/Lam Tin/Tuen Mun
Roles & responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services at the Women Wellness Satellites (WWSs) and undertake administrative works;
- provide nursing support, health assessment, counselling and health education;
- take cervical smear;
- arrange tests and investigation prescribed by doctors;
- explain examination results and follow up the clients with abnormal examination results;
- communicate and collaborate with District Health Centre/Expresses and stakeholders for service provision and case management;
- perform data entry of examination results;
- answer clients’ enquiries;
- provide support for promotion and health education programmes;
- provide support to meet the service target and key performance indicators of WWSs;
- required to perform shift duty and work in different locations; and
- perform any other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- either one of the following qualifications:
(a) a Certificate of Registration (Part I or Part II) and a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong; or
(b) a Certificate of Registration and a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Midwives Council of Hong Kong; - at least 2 years of experience in patient care related nursing practice as a registered nurse or experience proven by qualifications that are accepted by the Government for Pap smear taking; and
- post-registration training in a clinical specialty is preferred.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $35,080 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 15). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
