Physiotherapist I

Location: Central & Western District
Roles & responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and community rehabilitation services in the area of physiotherapy to referred individuals;
- provide health promotion, primary prevention programs and self-management support programs;
- supervise the Physiotherapist IIs in delivering community rehabilitation services and the fitness instructor in providing training exercise;
- communicate and liaise with the Hospital Authority, family doctors, professional groups and related parties in relation to the Central & Western District Health Centre services; and
- perform any other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- a recognized degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent;
- a Certificate of Registration (Part Ia) and a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong;
- at least 5 years of post-qualification patient care related practice in physiotherapy; and
- preferably with some experience in geriatric service.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $56,450 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 25). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
