Location: Central & Western District

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and community rehabilitation services in the area of physiotherapy to referred individuals;
  • provide health promotion, primary prevention programs and self-management support programs;
  • supervise the Physiotherapist IIs in delivering community rehabilitation services and the fitness instructor in providing training exercise;
  • communicate and liaise with the Hospital Authority, family doctors, professional groups and related parties in relation to the Central & Western District Health Centre services; and
  • perform any other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • a recognized degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent;
  • a Certificate of Registration (Part Ia) and a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong;
  • at least 5 years of post-qualification patient care related practice in physiotherapy; and
  • preferably with some experience in geriatric service.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $56,450 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 25).  Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience.  The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review.  The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
