In loving memory of Advisor Maisy HO, BBS, JP
Ms. Maisy HO, BBS, JP, Member of the TWGHs Advisory Board cum Chairman 2015/2016, passed away peacefully on 12 April 2026. To continue her benevolent kindness, the family wishes relatives and friends to donate their condolence giving for the good causes. Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (the “Group”) is one of the designated charitable organisations.
Advisor Maisy Ho, Executive Director of Shun Tak Holdings Limited, was an acclaimed businesswoman known for her commitment to community service and philanthropic efforts, embracing her family’s legacy as a dedicated patriot. Her public duties spanned social welfare, public healthcare and youth development, carrying on her family’s proud tradition. In addition to serving the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals for 17 years, she was also appointed a member of the Hospital Authority, the chairman of the Hospital Governing Committee of Shatin Hospital, a member of the Court of The University of Hong Kong, and a member of the Council of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She was recognised with the Bronze Bauhinia Star and appointed a Justice of the Peace for her distinguished service to the community. She also received an honorary university fellowship from The University of Hong Kong and an honorary fellowship from the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education. Her legacy will forever resonate in the hearts of all who know her, and continue to inspire generations to come.
Advisor Maisy Ho first served as Director of the Board of Directors of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in 2009. Since 2011, she held the positions of the Fifth, Fourth, Third, and First Vice-Chairman, and was elected as the Chairman in 2015. In 2016/2017, she served as Member of the TWGHs Advisory Board, and was appointed again in August 2022. At the same time, she was also the Member of the Board of Governors of Tung Wah College, and the Supervisor of TWGHs Chan Siu Ming Secondary School. Over the years, she has generously supported the establishment of various service units and projects of the Group, including, TWGHs Lucina Lamm Ho Kindergarten, TWGHs Miss Maisy Ho Joint Schools Civic Education Award and its extension, TWGHs Maisy Ho Chiu Ha Joint-School Community Services Award Programme, TWGHs M Ho Integrated Rehabilitation Centre, and TWGHs Maisy Ho Archives and Relics Centre. Her contributions towards the charitable work of the Group and the betterment of the society have been remarkable.
