Project Coordinator (Planning)

Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the formulation of clinical services plan and facilities for Tung Wah’s medical service centres at Kwong Wah Hospital (KWH) under the Master Redevelopment Project (KWH-MRP);
  • assist in defining the user’s requirement of the required facilities and technical specification of medical equipment and advise on the provision of procurement;
  • coordinate with the hospital clinical departments to facilitate clinical supports for medical service centres after redevelopment;
  • formulate polices/procedures/guidelines/manuals for centre operation after redevelopment and develop risk management, quality improvement and outcome evaluation programs;
  • conduct feasibility assessments and assist in planning and commencement of new medical initiatives and projects;
  • provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to clinical team members of special medical projects; and
  • perform any other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • a recognized degree in nursing/related discipline or above;
  • a Certificate of Registration (Part I or Part II) issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong;
  • a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong;
  • at least 5 years of post-registration experience in healthcare; and
  • the followings are preferred:
    (a) a Master degree or Post graduate diploma in a clinical nursing specialty; or
    (b) a Master degree or Post graduate diploma in nursing/management or related discipline together with recognized specialty training qualifications; or
    (c) sound nursing supervisory background and strong connection with Kwong Wah Hospital; or
    (d) extensive knowledge and experience in Chinese Medicine and/or Integrative Medicine.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $59,110 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 26). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
