Founding of the People’s Republic of China
Territory-wide Photo Competition for Secondary Students
To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, the Hong Kong Institute of Education jointly organize the Territory-wide Photo Competition for Secondary Students. Participants are required to take photos in the categories of “Modern Landmarks” and / or “Landscape” in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. More than 230 entries have been collected from territory-wide secondary schools from late August to end of September.
The adjudication has been conducted by the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, the Hong Kong Institute of Education. The adjudication panel consists of the following 3 members –
- Dr Lai Ming Hoi Victor, Associate Head
- Dr Lau Chung Yim, Assistant Professor
- Mr Ng Mau Wai Clive, Instructor I
The prize presentation ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m., 20 November 2009 (Friday) at Tung Wah Museum (Kwong Wah Hospital, 25 Waterloo Road, Kowloon). Winners will be notified about the prize presentation ceremony through their schools.
