Charity Reunion Dinner
The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals hosted a Charity Reunion Dinner on Friday, 10 July 2009 to raise funds for Tung Wah’s development projects, in which the redevelopment of Kwong Wah Hospital is a major item. Prof. the Hon. K. C. CHAN, SBS, JP, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, was present as Guest of Honour. Many former Tung Wah Board Members, senior government officials, donors and celebrities also joined the function.
A number of distinguishing programmes were arranged on the occasion, including the sharing by attending former Chairmen of Tung Wah Board, which made it an enjoyable evening for all the guests.
With the generous support from the event Patrons and well-wishers, over $1.6 million was raised.
