Facilities Management Officer
(REF: A3/FMO/TL/THP/PD/NET)
Roles & responsibilities:
- Assist the superior to manage the assigned transitional housing and/or investment properties, oversee all facilities related functions, including but not limited to security, waste management, pest control, landscape, etc.;
- supervise the performance of security team by giving instructions and conducting regular site walks/night checks;
- handle enquiries, requests and complaints of tenants, users, lodgers, licensees and visitors;
- invite quotations and tenders for flat renovation, building repairs and maintenance of common areas & facilities, etc. of the assigned properties by drafting specifications of quotations in compliance with the procurement procedure and make recommendations on selection of suitable contractors/service providers;
- coordinate and monitor the progress of renovation/repair works and exercise control on contractors;
- liaise with the government officials of building partially owned by the Group regarding building management matters;
- prepare building budgets, submit reports on incidents occurred at the assigned properties;
- submit reports to superiors and recommend course of action when necessary; and
- attend emergency calls and urgent duties round the clock.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- (a) Matriculation (passes in two Advanced Level subjects in HKALE and credits in three other HKCEE subjects) or equivalent; or
(b) Professional Diploma in Property Management or related discipline; - preferably 2 years’ post-qualification experience in property management;
- self-motivation, attention to details and ability to work under pressure;
- proficient in PC applications;
- good command of spoken English; and
- experience in transitional housing and/or public housing projects is an advantage.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered on contract terms with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
