Human Resources Executive Assistant

Location: Sheung Wan
Roles & responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the annual exercises or projects relating to the staff training budget of Personnel Section, annual appraisal exercises of schools, pay review of the temporary Clerical Support Assistant posts and internship programme;
- render administrative support to supervisors, including performing a gate keeping role to screen and counter check the documents handled by the clerical staff in relation to appointment/promotion/cessation matters and Human Resources Committee;
- coordinate with the team members, consolidate and compile monthly statistics of staff appointment/cessation/promotion/disciplinary/salary assessment cases as well as reports relating to the personnel functions and manpower position of schools and Personnel Section;
- provide logistic support and perform coordination work for briefing session and ad hoc projects; and
- handle general enquiries and assist in general office duties.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- (a) Higher Diploma/Associate degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources Management; or
(b) 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics or equivalent plus at least 5 years’ clerical experience; - preferably experience in handling human resources administration;
- attentive to details and good computer knowledge of Microsoft Office; and
- proficient in both Chinese and English language.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
