Property Development Officer
(REF: A3/PDO/TL/THP/PD/NET)
Location: Sheung Wan
Roles & responsibilities:
- Assist to evaluate market value and rent of the Group’s property portfolio;
- assist to explore and evaluate investment opportunities and development potential;
- assist to respond to user enquires and provide professional insights and advice on development projects, land and tenancy matters;
- assist to coordinate and operate the Transitional Housing Projects and other development projects;
- provide support to superiors in conducting market research, feasibility studies, reviewing development plans and development of business plan;
- analyze and report, including but not limited to market transaction, market movement, change in town plan zoning, new development and planning application, etc.; and
- perform any other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- (a) Associate Degree/Higher Diploma preferably in Real Estate/Surveying/Estate Management or related discipline plus at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of valuation, surveying or property development; or
(b) a recognized degree preferably in Real Estate/Surveying/Estate Management or related discipline; and - preferably technical competence, good negotiation skills and strong property market sense.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
