Location : Sheung Wan
Roles & responsibilities:
- Coordinate and communicate with different stakeholders on the naming arrangements in accordance with the directives of the Board of Directors;
- coordinate the naming/cheque presentation ceremonies, grand opening and acknowledgement dinners;
- liaise with Divisions/Office for funding proposals to solicit donations from potential donors, including naming, scholarships, service projects and equipment;
- provide executive support for the donation administration including compilation of regular progress updates and donation usage reports to major donors and preparation of papers and minutes for the Executive Committee/Board Meetings;
- monitor and manage the regular fund-raising activities through donation boxes including coordination with Social Welfare Department and other Divisions/Office on the application of Public Subscription Permit, implementation of regular review on donation box recording system and compilation of the relevant reports;
- plan and implement the event “Tung Wah Charity Gala – Charity Rides” and any ad-hoc beneficiary events as assigned; and
- supervise and provide guidance to subordinates to ensure that the assigned tasks are completed timely and effectively.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- A recognized degree or equivalent;
- at least Grade D in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
- at least 4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in administration and fund-raising field;
- proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- excellent communication, event organization and project management skills;
- supervisory experience is preferred; and
- preferably with hands-on experience in handling naming donations/funds.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
