7th TWGHs Joint Secondary School Debate Competition
For the 7th year, TWGHs had organized the “TWGHs Joint Secondary School Debate Competition” to enhance its students’ language skills, critical thinking and self-confidence. The finals and the presentation ceremony were held on 21 May 2016 at Ben C M Wong Lecture Theatre in Patrick Lee Wan Keung Academic Building, Lingnan University. Officiating at the Ceremony were Dr. AU YEUNG Wai Hoo, Ben, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Dr. YAU Yat, Senior Lecturer and Head of Lifelong Learning Programme, Lingnan Institute of Further Education. TWGHs Wong Fut Nam College was crowned the champion and TWGHs Chen Zao Men College and TWGHs Sun Hoi Directors’ College were the first runner-up and the second runner-up respectively.
