Background
Tung Wah Board allocated funding to establish TWGHs Medical Centre (North Point). This new medical centre is a milestone in the development of the medical services of Tung Wah Group. First, the Well Women Clinic located at Tung Wah Eastern Hospital was moved to the new centre to facilitate service expansion and enhancement; the second Integrated Diagnostic and Medical Centre was established for service extension to Hong Kong Island, and the new western medicine specialist centre and community pharmacy will also be established. In addition, the TWGHs Carrie Sze Memorial Dental Centre which was originally located at Kiangsu and Chekiang Building in North Point was also moved to the new medical centre to achieve synergy effect. TWGHs Medical Centre (North Point) provides comprehensive medical services ranging from health-check to specialist services, and even dental and pharmacy services. The western medicine centres will provide one-stop health-check, diagnosis, specialist and treatment services. The centre has been operational in October 2020.
