Project Manager (Property)

Roles & responsibilities:
- Provide support to superior in management and supervision of the Group’s construction, maintenance and renovation projects;
- monitor and coordinate the preparation of feasibility study and design proposal for different construction projects and fitting-out works;
- supervise the preparation of consultancy agreements, tender documents, schedule of works and drawings for superior’s approval;
- perform direct supervision, attend site meetings, prepare monthly financial and progress reports, and liaise with Government authorities and consultants;
- invite tenders or quotations for capital construction, renovation and maintenance projects etc. according to pre-defined policies and guidelines; analyse, shortlist and recommend tenders/quotations to superior for further decisions;
- incorporate design elements to prepare documents and drawings for projects according to pre-defined policies, procedures and ordinances etc. for superior’s consideration for funding application;
- provide professional training and guidance to subordinates and supervise subordinates on daily operations;
- provide technical advice to user Divisions on renovation and maintenance projects; and
- perform any ad hoc duties and tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- (a) a recognized first Degree or Diploma in Architectural Studies and a second Degree in Architecture or equivalent; or
(b) a recognized Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent; - at least 3 years of relevant working experience of which 2 years of practicum experience and 1 year of post-qualification experience;
- at least level 4 in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSE or equivalent; and
- membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (MHKIA) or the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (MHKIS) in Building Surveying Division, or equivalent.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
