TWGHs Joint Primary School Soccer Ambassador Achievement Celebration cum Soccer Fun Day
TWGHs Joint Primary School Soccer Ambassador Achievement Celebration cum Soccer Fun Day was held on 27 November 2016 at the Victoria Park. One hundred and five boys’ and girls’ soccer teams joined by more than 830 students from 13 TWGHs primary schools engaged in over a hundred soccer matches. Ms. CHAN Yuen Ting, BBS, Professional Consultant of the Soccer Ambassador Scheme cum Head Coach, Eastern Long Lions Football Team, officiated at the Celebration. Mr. PUI Kwan Kay, SBS, BBS, MH, Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Football Association Limited, representatives from various District Council, Recreation and Sports Associations, Sports Association, and Mr. Simon McManus, Head of Coaching, Arsenal Soccer Schools, also attended the Ceremony.
Mrs. Katherine MA, the Chairman cum Honorany Supervisor, congratulated the commended students of the Scheme as well as the winners of Soccer Fun Day. She also encouraged all the students to equip themselves with positive values and behaviours, achieving the ultimate goal of the Scheme: “Being a good soccer player and student with broad horizons”.
Over 830 TWGHs primary students shared the fun of playing soccer with guests, teachers and parents.
