Location: Yau Ma Tei
Roles & responsibilities:
- Assist Chinese Medicine Practitioners with various western medical examinations and assessments, including measuring blood pressure, drawing blood, administering injections, conducting urine tests and performing blood glucose testing, also providing health advice and counselling services to patients when needed;
- assist with the administrative work and staff management of the centre;
- participate in research activities and handle related documents;
- administer chinese medicine to patients in hospital wards; and
- perform any other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- a Certificate of Registration (Part I) issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, or equivalent;
- a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong;
- basic knowledge of traditional Chinese Medicine;
- preferably experience in administration and research; and
- proficient in computer operations and Chinese word-processing.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $35,080 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 15). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
