Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Staff Relations Unit in organizing initiatives/events;
  • assist in managing social media accounts and mobile apps, including content creation, design/edit graphics/videos/audio files for promotional means as well as staff engagement activities with an aim at improving user experience and fostering corporate caring culture;
  • stay up-to-date with the latest trends and develop creative marketing strategies so as to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the team;
  • assist in the process of participating award schemes in the market;
  • compile and edit work for staff e-Newsletter by preparing artwork, designing layout, typesetting and proofreading;
  • provide administrative support in coordinating Staff Committee meetings; and
  • perform document management duties such as schedules, reports and relevant analyses, and handle telephone enquiries from internal and external parties.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • (a) Higher Diploma/Associate degree preferably in Marketing/Design or related discipline; or
    (b) 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics or equivalent plus at least 5 years’ clerical or relevant experience;
  • preferably experience in event management;
  • good computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator;
  • proficient in English and Chinese, and preferably in Putonghua;
  • good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • able to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines; and
  • able to work independently with initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
