Location: Sheung Wan
Roles & responsibilities:
- Inspect building/fitting-out works and building services installation works and prepare inspection report, attend meeting and witness the testing and commissioning of installations, plant, facilities and equipment;
- assist in facilities/project management and monitor progress of works, site safety, materials and workmanship;
- assist in supervising and managing daily repair and maintenance jobs;
- assist in drafting and vetting of the specifications for tender, quotation or maintenance contract for building and building services installation;
- liaise with users, contractors, consultants and relevant parties on all matters relating to users’ requirements, access or disturbance, program, etc. for execution of works on site; and
- perform any other duty as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- Higher Certificate or Diploma in Building/Building Studies or equivalent;
- Form 6 graduate (for HKDSE)/Form 5 graduate (for HKCEE) and attained the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2″ or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
- at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience, preferably in Alterations and Additions (A&A) projects and maintenance projects;
- preferably basic knowledge of building services installation;
- preferably knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project with hands-on experience in using MS Office; and
- good communication, coordination, interpersonal skills and capability to work independently.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
