Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing staff welfare benefits (such as medical benefits and staff awards/grants) and staff activities (such as sports tournaments, award ceremonies and annual dinner);
  • assist in graphic design and editing of backdrops, props and promotional materials for staff activities;
  • render administrative support for the implementation of the review/revision of staff welfare policies and procedures;
  • support the Deputy Head in managing and coordinating the schedules and documents related to staff training and welfare activities;
  • process applications for granting/reimbursements for staff welfare benefits;
  • handle enquiries from internal/retired staff members relating to staff welfare matters; and
  • assist in general office duties as well as handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • (a) Higher Diploma/Associate degree or equivalent preferably in Human Resources Management; or
    (b) 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics or equivalent plus at least 5 years’ clerical experience;
  • preferably experience in event management;
  • good computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator;
  • proficient in English, Chinese and preferably in Putonghua;
  • good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • able to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines; and
  • able to work independently with initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
